Travel SEA

Been eyeing on getting a new notebook that I can use for my Southeast Asian trip. I’m not yet sure but I’m thinking of using something new so that I won’t have to worry about anything else during the travel. I know it can be quite a hassle to find a good socket to plug the device when I wish that I could just turn on my computer when I need it the most.

Bus Loading

Funny how time flies by so fast and it’s already our 6th day of touring North Luzon. We’ve been riding a bus for days and we had a lot of cool adventures as we visited great tourist spots in the process. This is part of a media familiarization tour of the organization as they help promote the different places in the North. I say this is a wonderful activity to help familiarize ourselves on the places that we thought never knew existed.

temporary break

Was able to travel solo which is one of the few feats that I’m able to do. Most of my trips are usually with people, some I’ve just met and others are already buddies when it comes to adventures.

more adventures

I’m liking the fact that I have something to look forward to every month. My schedule might be crazy but I’m happy that I get to enjoy my vacations. Not most people can have the same privilege as I do considering that I work in a BPO company.

booking

My, my. To book or not? It’s a crazy situation – I haven’t even slept well last night.

It’s still cheap but I’m not entirely sure if I want to create any major expense as of the moment due to the availability or unavailability of funds. But what if I did? My mind is journeying to places and I’m left with my imagination which can get dreamy.

lost and looking for directions

One good tip a friend back in high school said about traveling and going to places is that you don’t have to worry about getting lost. So long as you know how to READ, then you’ll be able to reach your destination in one piece. That’s only good if the you read the same language. But of course, I didn’t take her word in a literal sense. It was a wake-up call for me when I asked her if she was ever afraid to go out on her own. She gave me that answer which came out as a challenge for me to always look and read signs. What I mostly do is ask for help from people around; it gets most of the task of looking for the place faster. But then there’s always the risk of getting information that is unreliable and you have to contend with starting over from where you last left off.

the need to travel

I feel that I need to travel in order to stay sane and keep my head afloat. This is a therapeutic activity for me which actually serves as my addiction to keep me from going bonkers. Bohol has already been started and I’ll be flying off to foreign ground next week. I don’t know if I will be able to keep up with the momentum but I won’t give up without a fight.

2 weeks before travel

I have 2 weeks left before the travel and I’m currently waiting for my loan to be approved. Although the money will be used somewhere else, I will be able to get some for personal benefits.

travel schedules

I’ve already talked with my folks over the places I’ll be going next month onwards.

August – Bohol
September – Hongkong, Macau
October – Manila, Kota Kinabalu, Singapore
November – Iloilo

January – Davao
February – Manila
March – Clark

the week is over

and I need to get back to work. It was fun while it lasted, or should I just be creating this entry tomorrow? I’m still in Dumaguete, still working. The food places and the hang outs have been really fun; I’ve never partied gone out like this even in Cebu. Dumaguete has always been a slow-paced environment, that one tiny bubble where you can just chill with your shorts and slippers, even in bars. It’s a traveler’s haven, the food is cheap and everything can just be traveled by foot.

backpack and lens

Somehow I want to place all my travels in a collage or in an entry of some sort. Given the number of travels I’ve been around the country has really been helpful in making me explore the different locations and spots.

jetsetter

“It’s time everyone flies.” –> This is a tag line from a local airline famous because of its cheap flights and promotions. Last year, I’ve been able to travel a lot by boat. This year, I’m hoping to travel a lot by plane. In any case, I’m just glad to travel.

travelling soloflight

Travelling hasn’t been one of my lists of things to do last year but somehow, I almost end up doing so. It’s a nice retreat cause you get to explore the different parts of the country. Though my boundaries are still limited, it’s still nice to be able to go out and see nature and its beauty.

travel

I plan to travel this holiday. Maybe just go and find a good place to inhale some fresh air. I hope everything pushes through.

pooped

I’ve been up for more than 24 hours, most of the time I spent at work since I had a double-shift (meaning, I completed two days worth of duty) because I have some appointments later on. Now, I feel restless but I’m having a migraine. I’m hungry but I want to go and sh*t.
