Healthy Next Week

I said I was going back to the gym but funds have been so low as of the moment that I promised I will have to settle bills first before I embark on any healthy escapade – yes, I call going to the gym as an escapade to motivate myself that I’ll get positive results. I already stopped for a couple of months and I know that going back will mean getting my muscles sore for a couple of days until I get used to a routine again. Oh well, at least I haven’t been putting a lot of pounds.

Sautéed Vegetables

I’m going organic by eating more sautéed vegetables for lunch and dinner. I don’t mind considering that I’m already accustomed to having these types of dishes without any meat with them.

Fruits and Cereals for Breakfast

I’ve been jogging twice or thrice a week now and it gives me the added energy considering I’m able to sweat out the stress that I’ve accumulated due to my current working conditions.

I’ll start running. I actually have; only I haven’t been as serious. I’ve been putting off this activity with the excuse that I didn’t have any running shoes to wear. I realized how pathetic a reason it was. Other people have ran using slippers – makes me wonder how long I have carried the feeling of being consious about how people would see me. It doesn’t really equate much because the goal of this pursuit is due to me being conscious. Maybe it’s the varying degree and level of being highly critical is what separates the two.

back to the gym

I have to head back to the gym. It’s been a week since my membership expired and I have to renew it again. Somehow, I like being a bum again. I won’t have to spend so much and I’m not as pressured to go out.

second opinion

Went to a trusted orthodontist to check how my procedure will be taken care of. It seems that going the healthy and fit road will cost me much. 60K for brackets? Not for me; I got a second opinion which will only cost me half. I hope that the amount will not compromise the quality of the experiment. Vanity has its price, but it’s a price I don’t want to pay considering that I don’t want to invest a lot.

health check

I just had a check up as part of the company’s way of promoting wellness. It turns out that when I had my bone density examined, I lacked calcium in my body. I am osteopenic which is already a step before osteoporosis. My bones are brittle and that I need to drink some capsules to have the needed 1200 grams of calcium per day.
