Still a bit high from my trip to Davao. Though it seemed that the place was silent, I guess it’s just the initial feeling when one is exposed to the city life for quite a while. This also happened to me when I was in Manila and I went back to my home town. But I was able to adjust after a couple of weeks. Anyway, there’s no adjustment here since I’m now in Cebu again. The break was good; it did me good.

Was suffering from itchiness because of my skin that got burned because of too much hanging out under the sun when we went to a beach in Davao. The beach is my refuge, what can I say? Now I’m just suffering the consequence of peeling off. Oh well, at least I can literally say I shed off from my old skin. harhar.

After I arrived home from Davao, I was able to contemplate on our situation compared to the people whom we thought had ‘better’ lives. It made me realize how lucky we are still despite trying times. I’ve always thought that we looked sorry but it changed. It made me rethink my perception that I should be thankful for the things that I have.
It was a good recollection; being able to see my relatives again. I wonder when will be the next time I get to this. I hope it wouldn’t be another 10 years.
Just got back from my hometown, the place where I grew up and spent 12 years of childhood. It was a nice experience because I got to meet my relatives after 10 years of not seeing them. A lot has changed, people have grown up. Cousins already have children and lives have really gone different. Even the place where I lived is now a commercial building. I miss the place.
Anyway, we were there because of my brother’s graduation and at the same time, I wanted to get a quick vacation from my unused leaves at work. I tried to apply for one of those Instant Pay Day Loans so I can just take advantage of the situation where I’m in right now. It’s nice cause I didn’t have to present too many documents just to show that I could pay off the short term loan. The best thing was being able to use their online service so the application is very convenient.
Now I just have to figure out a way to pay it the soonest time possible.
So many things I’d like to do over the weekend…
I wish those times that I had nothing to do in the past would be filled with one of the lists that I have now. Busy, busy.
