People are preparing for different Christmas party celebrations at the office and I’m supposed to gather everyone so that we could all prepare our room for the festivities. It’s nice because I get to spend at least one last party with colleagues at the office.

December 8, 2010 — edcelSo the money arrived, but now it’s gone. I’ve never felt more empty during Christmas. It’s supposed to be the season to be jolly. But I’ve no one to blame. I already had my time to splurge in advance. Back when I had trips left and right, local and abroad. Now I can’t complain. I’ve actually accepted it even before. I just feel robbed and lifeless considering that everybody’s enjoying the moment.

It’s Christmas season and everybody’s been very busy with the holidays with different preparations and parties that people are attending and setting up. I know it’s definitely tiring but somehow fulfilling to host celebrations for relatives and friends as you know it’s going to be a good occasion to catch up with each other.

December 21, 2008 — edcelIt’s 4 days till Christmas and somehow I’ve been wanting to get the old holiday spirit going on however I haven’t been as successful nowadays. Probably because I’m just swamped with too much work that I like to think I’m very busy even for the one of the most-celebrated events of the year. According to a colleague, we’ll most likely feel the season within this week or so.

Back during our Christmas party in my department, I didn’t only receive a gift from the one who got my name, I also received one from my immediate supervisor. It was nice of her to give all of us and thought about us in that course. It made me want to give some gifts to my colleagues as well; just as a sign of appreciation. Besides, it’s already been a year since we worked together.

December 13, 2008 — edcelWe’ll be having our Christmas party tomorrow, hopefully I’ll be able to win a prize. Anyway, I was planning to just rush everything but my colleagues called me up saying that they’ll find something for me. We had to meet because I also promised that I’d go out with them so they can pick the shirt and the works. I’m glad that for once, I have two other opinions who wouldn’t mind sharing their thoughts on what would suit me; I never really had the same opportunity.
