christmas food

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Club House. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s Christmas season and everybody’s been very busy with the holidays with different preparations and parties that people are attending and setting up. I know it’s definitely tiring but somehow fulfilling to host celebrations for relatives and friends as you know it’s going to be a good occasion to catch up with each other.

What I like most out of these parties are the definitely the food. It’s definitely season for eating and binging on food. I tend to get lost in the food servings especially the sauces and condiments. It makes me wonder why I haven’t been seeing a lot of gravy put into the tray. Maybe because my relatives think that a gravy mix is hard to make. Well, it is a must whenever there are fried food served especially chicken.

Club House Gravy is easy to prepare and delivers great tasting gravy your family will love. Preparing gravy for the Christmas meal is as easy as using a Club House Gravy mix, adding your roast drippings and simmering!

Check out some good gravy tips video so you can find inspiration on how to create some good mixtures.

chucks for Christmas

Posted by edcel in random.

Got myself a new pair of chucks.

This is the first original pair that I bought since at first I didn’t want it to buy one because everybody had one. I’m a nonconformist but I have to give the label up today. I actually bought a couple of shoes when I was in Greenhills during my Manila trip but because they didn’t last long. I said to myself that it’s going to be the last time I’m going to compromise quality over pricing. I figured I should  invest in a really good pair of shoes that would last long because the previous ones just served their purpose, just to be some cheap thrills.

I was planning to get a Puma but I couldn’t find a pair that I could find to my liking. I don’t like my gear to be too flashy and attracts attention. I bought a couple of chucks instead. At least it’s not that loud. Ah, the wonders of being able to swipe that plastic. hehe.

of gifts and parties

Posted by edcel in random.

It’s 4 days till Christmas and somehow I’ve been wanting to get the old holiday spirit going on however I haven’t been as successful nowadays. Probably because I’m just swamped with too much work that I like to think I’m very busy even for the one of the most-celebrated events of the year. According to a colleague, we’ll most likely feel the season within this week or so.

At least right now, Christmas parties are abound, and I got some gifts that I wanted out of the blue. The company was actually raffling off some good appliances and cool gadgets but what were my chances in order to win off a home theater system or just a portable playstation? Close to none. However, there are some nice contests out there that would definitely entice other people to join. Everyone has got a wish and it wouldn’t hurt if at least one would come true.

This contest will just make you upload a picture and submit some minimum information and you can join a chance to win 500 bucks that will definitely help you when you want to buy that gift for yourself. What makes CEIVA unique compared to other digital photo frames is that it’s more personalized and you can customize it according to your liking.

some other gifts

Opp-300x300

Back during our Christmas party in my department, I didn’t only receive a gift from the one who got my name, I also received one from my immediate supervisor. It was nice of her to give all of us and thought about us in that course. It made me want to give some gifts to my colleagues as well; just as a sign of appreciation. Besides, it’s already been a year since we worked together.

A week after, I also received a customized id sling from a workmate, he put our names in the tags which made it special. It seems that personalized holiday giftsare a great way to give that extra factor when giving gifts. It makes the receiver realize the thought of that added personal touch which is really great.

One nice way set of gifts would be Pexagon’s promo, offering 20% off 4 awesome personalized holiday gift ideas! You can choose between some personalized thumb drives, pens, business card flash drives or wooden USB flash drives. These things are quite nifty since they’re very useful.

At least I still have the end of the year to choose which one I want to give to people; or better yet, I can just buy all of them. I better hurry though, we don’t want to be stuck in the Christmas rush.

gearing up

Posted by edcel in pictures, random.

We’ll be having our Christmas party tomorrow, hopefully I’ll be able to win a prize. Anyway, I was planning to just rush everything but my colleagues called me up saying that they’ll find something for me. We had to meet because I also promised that I’d go out with them so they can pick the shirt and the works. I’m glad that for once, I have two other opinions who wouldn’t mind sharing their thoughts on what would suit me; I never really had the same opportunity.

Feeling the warmth of Christmas.
November’s a bit late, but it’s better than not preparing at all.
