edsnaps got his camera back!

Posted by edcel in blog, pictures.

I’m just glad I got my camera, my Nikon D80 back after two months of waiting for it from the repair man. Now I can just snap away.

I hope that I get more inspired to learn more from this craft so that one day, I can say that I enjoy what I’m doing and I do this for a living.

Amaw is crazy in our dialect, I think.

I feel crazy that my camera is still not working. My D80 is still not with me and as the day passes without it, I grow fonder. I forgive myself if I break into a song or a rhyme. But when something so precious is taken away, it’s as if a part of your whole gets lost in the process. I actually feel empty without it at my side that I might lose some senses while waiting for its return

I drive myself (and other people) crazy.

capturing modes

Posted by edcel in random.

I haven’t been able to tweak my camera as much as needed. I was really planning to understand the concepts of aperture, area of focus, shutter speed and the like. I even tried asking my friends and people who know about it for some tips. In the ends, I figured it would be best if I were to learn it myself as I’m a slow-poke when it comes to storing information. But I’ve been able to capture some nice shots with the new DSLR that I acquired all for the sake of photography. I never really knew that this hobby is expensive until I was able to buy my firs DSLR.

I got lost too especially with the many buttons and settings that one needs to fully use when you want to maximize your camera experience. That’s why I was advised by my boss to understand The modes you may have available when you have your own camera. You need to learn as though you’re talking to a person you just met and trying to befriend. There are a number of preset modes but the best as I’ve learned would still be the manual mode since you want to make sure that you know what you’re doing. You’d still require experience to teach you what you need to do when you’re faced with a situation that needs you to be fast and quick before you might lose the moment you want to capture.

paid off my DSLR

I paid off my camera! Yipee! I’m glad I’m able to purchase the gadget that I wanted. Now if only I can allot more time to understanding the concepts of this hobby. It seems that I’m caught up with the situation that I get stressed easily. I don’t even have much time to blog anymore because whatever hours I have left, I know I need to dedicate it somewhere else that’s more important.
