August 2, 2009 — edcelJust got back from a trip, and I got in FREE! I didn’t have to shell out anything for that event. Was so glad to get that much-needed break from stress at work. I needed to be with the waves and the sand, minus the sun. Although the weather didn’t cooperate, I’m just glad that somehow, the waves did.

I just like the rawer version of these guys who also have a good rendition of The Beatles’ “Don’t Let Me Down” which is also another story.

I was asking for some songs that I could listen to that she dug and I found this Jet’s song very cold and lonely at the time. I still am cold and lonely that’s why it fits the mood I have as of the moment. This is also one of the OST of Spiderman 2.

I fell in love with this song even when I was a kid. There’s just something so pure and profound with those simple words of expressing how much you say to the person “You look wonderful tonight”. I guess it’s part of the substance of Eric Clapton’s lyrics accompanied with a beautiful melody very good for slow dancing; as if it’s just you and your woman alone, isolated in a crowd of people you don’t care because you’re eyes are fixated on each other and the world stops with you.
