I’ve always been fond of comedy movies – those light ones that never really make you think hard because you just want to enjoy a good laugh out of your current situation which has become too serious for a joke. You don’t have to exhaust your brain to figure out what happened because you just want to be entertained.
Such is the case with Date Night Movie which is going to be released on April 9, 2010; starring two comedians who have earned their right in the industry: Steve Carell and Tina Fey.
I find Steve Carell to be really funny especially the point where he played Evan, the news reporter in Evan Almighty, nothing can beat him in the classic 40-Year Old Virgin. Tina Fey on the other hand, I’ve read a lot of good reviews about her written works as well as her skits in Saturday Night Live.
This movie talks about a bored suburban couple played who go on their weekly dinner date and find themselves thrown into a night of intrigue: there’s breaking and entering, a car chase, a shootout and a showdown with an underworld boss at a strip club.
The husband and wife come out of the adventure with some scratches and also with their ardor renewed.
