Got a treat at work, blueberry cheesecake and some other cakes from Starbucks. I got lucky. hehe. Over the course of eating our desserts, we talked about Rich Dad, Poor Dad, which is one of my favorite books because of how practical and true the words of Robert Kiyosaki were when it came to how to become rich, money-wise.

When I visited the house one fine pay day morning, my mother told me that our dog died. She passed away 5 days ago due to problems with her liver. Now she left her 3 old pups for us to take care of. We’re trying to use milk drops to feed them.
rainy days
July 16, 2009 — edcelIt’s been raining hard the past few days. The weather report on the news channel says that there’s another typhoon that’s going to hit the region which is not really surprising since it’s the rainy season and everybody’s sporting the latest jacket or sweater at work. Now I have to wonder if I should go on dress down or still be in a business casual attire whenever I go to the office since we’re excused to wear the former if it’s been raining crazy.

The Las Vegas Fantasy Football Superdraft will be held in the brightest city where you can also practice your poker face skills, or just get away from stress while looking at hot women in skirts.

July 14, 2009 — edceland now my joints are sore. Haha. It’s the first time I was able to sleep straight and I didn’t want to get up for work in a very long while! I need to fix some screws first and I know this will be temporary since I haven’t really had any major physical activity the past few weeks. But now that I’m back, even for a month only, at least I’ll have something to be busy with while doing something productive aside from just working my ass off by sitting. I hope I can achieve the body I want to be physically fit. Now, I just need to get some painkillers.

It’s as if I need to get my mind preoccupied most of the time so I won’t have to think of a lot of things. After work, I usually go home and log on to the internet to catch the latest buzz on blogs, news and other feeds. I also use my laptop as a way to connect with people through my sites.
