Transformers! Robots in Disguise.

transformers-2

Watched Transformers 2 (Revenge of the Fallen) yesterday and I can’t seem to describe how amazing it was. From the transformations of the autobots and the decepticons to the hilarious antics of Sam’s mom, to the action-packed sequences to the sidekick’s funny one-liners to Megan Fox. I couldn’t resist clapping at times when those cool robots changed from their disguises.

What I like in this movie is that it’s clearer now and you can distinguish the machines from each other. Optimus Prime was really something. I just wished that there were more autobots being featured, where the heck is Hot Rod? Maybe in the later franchises. Please include the dinobots as well, hehe.

I sat for two and a half hours but I was left speechless. It’s really good if you sit inside the theater. After watching it, I couldn’t help but recall the toys that I had as well as the cartoons that I watched. I can’t really say much, I better treat my brothers out to this movie.

Altogether now, “Bawit grana wink minibob” or sing “You’ve got the touch, you’ve got the power!” Sigh. Transformers, Robots in Disguise!

dream

A dream, it doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a byproduct of wishful thinking that makes you believe that there’s something more than that of what you’re expecting.

In another sense, it’s just a presumption of thoughts playing inside to fool the mind. It leaves you no intention but give you that tint of hope when everything is deemed impossible; which is pretty pathetic when you consider it.

When situations are bleak, it gives you a much-needed boost because of how the imagination works to your advantage. But we all know that binding truth that a dream is nothing more than one.

there's nothing to milk

You don’t have to squeeze me in. I don’t have to give you all the information that you need just to satisfy your craving for discovery that might be interesting or odd in another sense. Stop being too obsessed with how people think. People have different lives to lead and thinking about thoughts doesn’t really do much but tarnish reputations that you might have because of how imagination works. I care but yet I don’t. Stop milking, I’m not a fucking cow.

CamSur adventure in pictures

Come South, CamSur!
Had a blast at Camarines Sur between June 12-16, 2009! I can’t really describe how great the experience was, I’ll just post a few of the pictures here. Yeah, these are just a few out of a thousand shots, I believe. hehe.

Going there.
Went to Manila and then stayed a couple of hours there to prepare for our 8-hour bus trip to Naga. From Naga, we went to the Sabang Port and then finally got to the Caramoan Port so we could stay at the Villa Juliana Inn.

Island Hopping on the first day
Dropped by Matukad Island and also Lahos Island. The beach again, Nice to see good rock formations.

Visiting the Church and the town
Dropped by their 16th Century Church the next day and just took some more pictures. When we travelled, I usually stayed at the top of the tryke because I wanted to feel like I was part of the boondocks.

Island Hopping 2nd Day
Manlawi, Cotivas and Sabitang-Laya
2nd day to island hop, the islands were a lot far from the previous day. Saw some remnants of the Survivor Bulgaria challenges and dropped by the a sandbar that didn’t arise until after 30 minutes. Had great lunch prepared by our tour guide and had more pictures taken in the process.

CamSur Watersports Complex!
This is where I really had a blast. The CWC wakeboarding activities and the obstacle course at Lago del Rey. Something new to do and muscle pains were abound afterwards. It took  me 4 days to recover but the experience was really worth it. I’d like to go back here again if budget permits.

Foodtrip!
Got back to Manila to prepare for our flight back to Cebu. But before anything else, I had to drop by Chocolat in Mall of Asia where I tasted one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever eaten.

Everything was a blast, dunno when I’ll be able to have this kind of retreat again.

talking business

Posted by edcel in work.

I have been able to read one of the more practical books out there which is Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad which had helped me in my quest for knowledge in order to gain the drive and energy to work wisely and strategically than be just another employee. Of course right now, I can’t say that I’m financially free as I am still in a secure (more or less) job that pays me twice a month. But in the end, I would like to start my own business and then invest in another one. It would be nice to have financial freedom so that I won’t have to be a slave forever.

Business Sales Leads are offering good marketing strategies that create a better impression in whatever product or service that you have. One of the scarce things out there when coming up with something is an idea and it would be really great if I have a lot of it as it will be the main investment as well as the main source.

Anyway, I wish to learn more so I can stop working my buttocks off under a company and build my own someday. I just have to have a little more faith. Robert, help me. hehe.

got colds

I’m sick and I got colds. I hope this isn’t the dreaded swine flu. It’s probably just because of the rainy days happening currently. We have a storm here, signal number 1 and it’s been raining like crazy that I wish it would stop. To think that we just had a trip to the Caramoan Islands in CamSur. It’s a good thing that I was able to take that good old summer vacation even if we had it a little later.

Now I just have to think healthy and and eat healthy too. I also have to get some more rest than normal.
