Everyday, as I come home from work, all the main lights are already turned off because all the folks at home are sleeping by the time I arrive. But I usually stay awake after washing my face because I’d stare at the computer again to get my daily fix of unlimited surfing. But it gets a bit dark since I don’t h
ave any electricity on except for the monitor.
I just need a little light, good enough to illuminate my keyboard so I won’t have difficulty typing and blogging. Because as you can see in the photo, I’ve made a lame attempt of improvising my 1100 phone as a “lamp”. Yeah right, who am I to fool myself. I need to get one already!
At least, it’ll be my payout tomorrow, so I can probably buy some lamps and lampshades. I wouldn’t have to worry about disturbing other people because the light wouldn’t be that harsh or distracting that it can break a person’s sleep.
I’m just planning to get one of those table lamps that are not so expensive as I just need them occasionally. While on the topic of buying, I’m going to buy a fan as well. I can’t afford air conditioning at home so I’ll settle for a fan; also because I suddenly grew so mad awhile ago that I kicked the our current one and now it got broken. The reason why I threw a rampage would be discussed maybe some time. I’m just trying to cool my head off, but because it’s hot and I broke the fan, I’m failing.
Now I’m listening to Third Eye Blind’s Never Let You Go, and it would’ve been perfect if I have some desk lamps here so I won’t have a hard time second-guessing the letters I’m going to type or deleting the letters that I’ve already typed. So much for that, I’d better sleep so I can rest.
